My movie is a video audition for my marching band to perform at Six Flags in Chicago during our summer band trip. I used photos from our last band trip edited in PSE. In addition, I used video clips from actual parades showing their marching ability. I used audio of my band and drumline as the background music. I used the following PSE--collage, resizing, zoom to an image, text on photo, and text filled with photo. Joining 5th Grade Band Podcast

For my podcast, I covered information parents will need to know about their child joining 5th grade band. In our school, even though the high school has moved to a web-based communication system, our elementary schools have not completely switched over. We still rely on students taking notes home to communicate to parents. In addition, it is difficult for parents to call me since I teach in four different buildings. My hope is that this podcast will answer questions of new band parents and provide them with ways to communicate with me. I used cropping, vignette, feather, text over photo, collage, and filled text for my PSEs. The background audio is my band playing cadences and our school song.
